Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online Course

 

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is an E-Learning course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.  

Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.  This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.

Students complete the On-line portion of the course in the comfort of their home which results in a Certificate of completion. A required skills session is then scheduled in the classroom with an Instructor where the student will practice and then demonstrate all the hands-on skills for this course.

Course Outline:

  • 1 Rescue Adult, Child & Infant CPR and AED use
  • Environmental emergencies
  • First aid basics
  • Injury emergencies
  • Medical emergencies
  • Conscious and unconscious choking relief

Course Length:  On-line portion takes approx. 3.5 hours and Skills Session takes about 45 minutes 

Certification: 2 years from the American Heart Association- Results in same certification as a full classroom course

For Heartsaver First Aid Only: on-line course is $25 and $60 for skills session

Book: No book needed as you will have access to all the course information for a period of 2 years
