This American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider course is required for professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

This course is often required by hospitals and is indicated for the following professions: doctors, nurses, nursing students, PA’s, lifeguards, EMT’s, respiratory & physical therapists, dentists, hygienists, lab techs and anyone working in the medical field.

Course Outline:

  • Critical concepts in high-quality CPR
  • 1 & 2 rescue CPR for Adult, Child and Infant
  • AED for Adult, Child and Infant
  • Bag mask ventilation
  • Conscious and unconscious choking relief
  • Differences among adult, child and infant rescue techniques

Course Length: approximately 3 hours

Certification: 2 years from the American Heart Association
